Obituary of Randall L. Mann

Rensselaer - Randall L. Mann, known to his friends as Randy, age 64, passed away suddenly but peacefully at home on  December 3, 2023. Randy was born in Buffalo, NY to Louis F. and Carole A. Mann.

Randy graduated from Southside High School in Elmira, NY where he grew up. Randy was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Jeff Gordon racing fan.  A lover of animals and a collector of Rock N Roll music and movies of all kinds.  In the past, he enjoyed hunting but more recently was passionate about his Chevy Malibu.

Randy is survived and will be dearly missed by his parents; his step mother Donna Mann; his children Lisa M. Mann, Erin K. Mann; his brother, Jeffrey (Kathy) M. Mann; his sisters, Julie (Daniel) C. Baker and Cheryl (Bruce) Bardin; and his grandchild Luka J. Mann, as well as many  aunts, uncles, cousins, several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Randy was predeceased by his son, Justin Mann.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, December 7, 2023, from 4-7pm, at the W.J. Lyons, Jr., Funeral Home, located at 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer. A service to celebrate Randall's life will follow at 6pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to Mohawk Hudson Humane Society 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204.
