Suzanne C. Baxter, 57, of New Port Richey, FL, entered eternal life on October 20, 2021 after a hard fought battle with cancer. Born in Middletown, NY, Suzanne had a passion for adventure, volunteering, animals, tinkering, and being surrounded by family. With an aspiration for success, Sue began her career as a hairdresser before transitioning into the electrical industry. She attended Hudson Valley Community College where she attained an Associates degree in Electrical Construction Maintenance. Upon moving to Florida, she earned a Bachelor's degree from Remington College in Electronic Engineering Technologies, which brought her to Pharamworks, a company that embodied an employee-first culture. Our family cannot fully express our appreciation to the Pharamworks team, who went above and beyond for Sue during her final battle. When she wasn’t working, Sue enjoyed giving back to her community by volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Suzanne was predeceased by her mother, Patricia Hogan whom she cared for and shared much of her life with. Suzanne leaves behind her son Christopher Conrad (Kelli Conrad) of St. Petersburg, FL, her sister Donna Bulnes (William Bulnes) of Rensselaer, NY, nephew Anthony Torres (Julie Torres) of Burnt Hills, NY and niece Jessica Baxter (Evan Butler) of Loudonville, NY. Sue was tickled pink spending time with her grandson Cooper Conrad and great-nieces Cadence and Capri Torres. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Suzanne’s life at 10:00am on Tuesday, October 26th at W.J. Lyons Funeral Home 1700 Washington Ave, Rensselaer NY 12144. A graveside service will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont, NY, 12077. If you are unable to attend the service, a private Zoom Link is available by reaching out to the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the selfless Community Hospice Foundation, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
