Scott Connors, 71 passed away at Evergreen Commons Nursing home after a brief battle with cancer on October 10, 2023. Born to Joseph and Jennifer Connors of Troy, on leap year February 29, 1952.
Scott was employed for a long time at Garden Way Manufacturing in Troy N.Y. He was then employed by Star and Strand Bus Company in Troy.
Scott is predeceased by his beloved son Paul, his parents, his brother Joseph, and sister Sharon.
He is survived by his sons, Scott, of Halfmoon and Terry (Heather) of Dacula, GA, as well as his grandsons Ian, and Duncan, Sean and Christian, his brother, Wayne of Brooksville, Fl and his, sister, Gail. He is also survived by his ex-wives Nancy, and Roxanne, who remained friends with Scott.
Scott's favorite things were his boys of course. His sons meant everything to him. He had a love of old music, Hank Williams, especially. Scott was an avid history buff and watched every single old cowboy movie and series ever produced. He enjoyed nature and used to hunt and fish whenever possible. He enjoyed many days on the Tomhannock Resevoir with his sons, and the Hudson River with his brother Joe, hunting ducks, and geese.
His sons would like to thank Evergreen Commons staff, and Hospice, for providing Scott and themselves with excellent care and support during Scott's final days.
