Richard T. Tomasone Sr.

Rensselaer -Richard T. Tomasone, Sr. aged 55 passed away suddenly on Friday, October 7, 2022, at his home. Richard was born in Albany and was the son of the late Janet and Dennis Tomasone, Sr. Graduating from Averill Park High School in 1985, he began working as a Heating /AC Technician. In his younger days, Rich was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying ATVing and hunting. He was a lifelong avid Hess truck collector, NASCAR fan, and football fan. He especially enjoyed following NASCAR driver Kevin Harvick and the Washington Redskins. He was father to Richard T. Tomasone, Jr., grandfather to Ayden & Sophia Tomasone and brother to Denny and Jimmy Tomasone. Rich is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Friday, October 14th from 4-6:30PM at the W.J. Lyons, Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer. Services will be immediately thereafter at 6:30 pm.
