Raymond A. Santore

Lutherville, Maryland- Raymond A. Santore, age 73, passed away peacefully at his home in Lutherville, Maryland, on Saturday, June 27, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Albany in 1952, Raymond was the son of the late Shirley and Francis Cloutier and Raymond Santore. He was raised in Albany and attended Cardinal McCloskey High School before graduating from Albany High School. In 1997, he moved to Maryland, where he made his home for the remainder of his life.

Raymond worked for Schneider Red Star and New Penn Trucking Company and was a proud member of Teamsters Local 294.

Above all, Raymond treasured time spent with his family and friends. He was a gifted storyteller who enjoyed sharing memories and filling gatherings with conversation and laughter. During his son Jacob's younger years, Raymond took great pride in coaching his football, baseball, and basketball teams.

A die-hard New York Yankees fan, Raymond attended many games alongside his brother, Stephen. He was also a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed hunting in his younger years.

Raymond is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Sandra Santore; his children, Lisa M. (Christopher) DelPozzo and Jacob Francis Santore; and his cherished granddaughters, Julia and Sofia DelPozzo. He is also survived by his brother, Stephen "Butch" Miller and his wife, Marie "Reezer" Miller; his nieces, Stephanie Miller and Tiffany MacCraken; as well as many extended family members and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Raymond's family on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the W.J. Lyons, Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m.
