Patricia R. Markessinis

Defreestville - Patricia (Tricia) Rose Markessinis, 58, of Defreetsville, NY passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019 comfortably at home surrounded by her loving family. Born September 2, 1961 in Troy NY, to Vincent “Jimmy” James Forino and Anna Marie Fascia, Patricia graduated from Mechanicville High School before achieving her Associate’s degree from SUNY Cobleskill. She prided herself on her work, which included the National Guard, Homestead Funding, Seton Health, and most recently Hudson Valley Community College. Tricia was also a member of the American Legion. Her most cherished interest was spending time with her family and friends, recently inclusive of her new granddaughter born in September. Tricia is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Thomas Markessinis; her sons, Alex Markessinis (Alexis Markessinis), Evan Markessinis (Melody Long); her granddaughter, Harper Markessinis; her sisters Debbie Forino Zima (Frank Zima), Annie Forino McQuade, and Mary Forino (Paul Taylor); and her loyal pets, Carter and Rose. Tricia’s Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 28th at 12 pm at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 175 Williams Rd, Troy, NY. Visitation will begin at 10 am.
