Nassau - Noreen M. Morris, age 57, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, after a courageous battle with COPD.

Born in Albany in 1968 to the late Philip J. and Rosemary (Spencer) Hirsch, Noreen was raised in Schodack and had resided in Nassau since 1994. She graduated from Averill Park High School.

Noreen worked as a deli manager for Grand Union Supermarket. After retiring from that position, she continued her dedication to hard work as a night custodian for the East Greenbush Central School District and also provided private home cleaning services.

A true outdoorswoman, Noreen loved NASCAR, camping, snow skiing, and motorcycle riding. She raced at Lebanon Valley Speedway. Cruises were one of her favorite getaways, and she fondly referred to her casino visits as "going to the doctors," especially enjoying time at Saratoga and Rivers Casino. Known for her strong spirit and outspoken nature, she lived life on her own terms.

Noreen married her best friend, James T. Morris, Sr., on September 7, 1996. Together for 41 years and married for 28, they shared a deep and enduring bond, doing everything side by side.

She is survived by her beloved husband, James, and their son, James T. Morris, Jr.; her cherished granddaughter, Leah N. Morris; and her sister, Sharon (Lawrence) Perez. She is also survived by her step-siblings, Robert Childs, Michael Childs, and Penny Cunningham; and her in-laws, Janet (Sherwood) Kolb, Joan (William) Malone, and Robert (Kristine) Morris. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, David Morris. Noreen also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A special thank you to her dearest friend, Lisa Vojnar, for always being there for Noreen and Jim with love, support, and unwavering friendship.
