Mark A. Vitallo

Rensselaer- Mark A. Vitallo, age 66, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 29, 2021 after a long illness. Mark was born and raised in Schenectady. In high school, Mark was on the varsity baseball and basketball teams. He was an avid New York Yankees and Giants football fan, enjoyed competing in road races, and was a passionate fisherman. Son of the late Russell and Dorothy Vitallo; brother of Kathleen (Peter) Harper, Henry Vitallo, Matthew (Marise) Vitallo, and the late Russell Vitallo; and uncle of Beth Allen and Russell Vitallo. A funeral service will be held from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue on Wednesday, December 1st at 2:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to call prior to the service at the funeral home from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Memory Gardens at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to Schenectady City Mission at 425 Hamilton St, Schenectady, NY 12305.
