Marcia Rose

Rensselaer - Marcia J. Rose, 78, died Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Evergreen Commons in East Greenbush. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Elizabeth (Ganance) Bailey and wife of the late Arden Rose. Marcia enjoyed Puzzles and never missed a NASCAR race. She is survived by her sons, Steven (Amanda) Rose of Perrish, FL, and Marc (Jodi) Rose of Vero Beach, FL; her brother William Bailey; her grandchildren, Fallon Rose, Steven (Brooke) Rose, Stephanie (Nathan) Perkins, Andrew Boughton and Matthew Rose and her son-in-law William Boughton. Marcia is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Robin Boughton and brother Sonny Bailey. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 11am in the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Ave., Rensselaer. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 9am. Interment will follow the service in Bloomingrove Cemetery, Defreestville.
