Lloyd E. Smith

Rensselaer- Llyod “Bud” E. Smith age 79 of Rensselaer, formerly of Edinburg, NY died Thursday October 31, 2019 at Albany Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Bud was son of the late Lloyd A. and Marguerite Devine Smith. Brother of Loretta A. (Richard) Delfs of TX, Eugene P. (Sharon) Smith of AZ, Lucy E. (Raymond) Berg of Rensselaer and the late Marguerite M. (Frank) Pirri. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mr. Smith was a proud Albany Firefighter as well as a school bus driver for the Edinburg and Northville school systems. He was also volunteer fireman for Edinburg and Northville fire districts. A funeral service will be held Friday afternoon at 3:00 at the funeral home. All are welcome to attend. Calling hours will be Friday prior to the service from 1-3 PM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a Go Fund Me Page under the account of Gene Smith.
