John L. Blankenhorn

East Greenbush- John Lee Blankenhorn, 81, passed away on October 21, 2026. He was the son of John F. Blankenhorn and June L. Rhinehart. John grew up in Ravena, New York, and went on to graduate from SUNY Albany.

For 28 years, John worked as an auditor for the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance; retiring in 2008.

In addition to his parents, John will be reunited with his beloved wife, Judy.

John is survived by his sister-in-law Nancy (Mark) Keenholts. He was a proud Uncle to Marcy (Garett) Wilson, Douglas (Meghan) Keenholts, and many great nieces and nephews.

A private interment will take place at Memory Gardens.
