Jacqueline T. Hilstro

Rensselaer - Jacqueline T. Hilstro, age 81, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026. Born in Fort Kent, Maine, she was the daughter of Albert Roy and Marie Raymond. As a dedicated mother, Jacqueline cherished time spent with her family. She enjoyed reading and had a deep love for animals.

Jacqueline is survived by her beloved children, Tammy (Scott) Kishbaugh and William (Melissa) Hilstro; her cherished grandchildren: William Hilstro II, Sarah Hilstro, Nathaniel Kishbaugh, Alexander Kishbaugh; her great grandchildren: Zoe, Teagan, Oliver, Mila, Ember, Austin, Elliot, Margo, Calder; and by her siblings: Erma (Joseph) Swahlan, Lawrence Roy, Roger Roy, Jerry (MaryJune) Roy, Hubert (Debra) Roy, James Roy.

In addition to her parents, Jacqueline was predeceased by her siblings Nancy O'Connell and Norma Robinson.

In lieu of flowers donations in Jacqueline’s name may be made to St. Jude's Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105, or the Hudson Mohawk Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
