Gladys M. Wasley

Wasley, Gladys, M. of Loudonville, NY and formerly of East Greenbush, NY passed away in the loving company of her daughters on February 19, 2020. Born in Albany she was the daughter of the late Alford and Beatrice Heins. Gladys was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her family meant the world to her, her smile would light up the room and her wit and sense of humor would fill it with laughter. She is survived by her daughters Susan (Lance) Ferson, Cheryl (Linda) Wasley; grandchildren Kenneth C. Wasley III, Robert Ferson, and Alana Ferson; great grandson Brandon Wasley; sister-in-law Yvonne Hitchcock; and several nieces and nephews. Gladys was predeceased by her husband Kenneth C. Wasley Sr., sons Kenneth Jr., and Robert Wayne, her sisters Edythe and Dorothy and her brother Alford. Her family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful staff at the Loudonville Assisted Living Residence Gerald Levine Center for Memory Care for the loving care that they provided her for the last four years. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 at noon in the W. J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Ave, Rensselaer. Relatives and friends are invited to call prior to the service from 10am to 12pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Gladys’ memory to Operation at Ease, Inc.
