David P. Hopeck

Rensselaer - David P. Hopeck, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Albany Medical Center.

Born in Albany, David was the son of the late Albert and Rose Hopeck. David loved music, played the guitar, and was an avid reader.

He is survived by his daughters, Rhianna Hopeck and Erica Mooney (David); his siblings, Barbara Spiak, Nancy Tedisco (Thomas), Phyllis Hopeck (William Provost), and Kenneth Hopeck (Cindy); as well as his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
