Clara M. Cipollari

East Greenbush-Clara M. Cipollari, age 97, of East Greenbush, NY passed away on February 18, 2026, after a short illness. 

Born in Cambridge, NY on May 22, 1928, Clara was the daughter of Carmella (DeMarco) and Thomas Scaglione. She was the youngest of eight children. She was a registered nurse who worked at Albany Medical Center after nursing school, followed by 43 years at Van Rensselaer Manor.

Clara leaves behind one daughter, Judi Cipollari, along with her family, husband Mike Susan and children Carmela Susan (20), Natalia Susan (18) and Michael Susan (16). She was also a proud aunt to multiple nieces and nephews. In her final years, she received extra loving support from her nieces Sue Ann (Maloy) Stanley and Marianne (Maloy) Holecek.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the W.J. Lyons, Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer. A funeral home service will follow at 1 p.m.
