Charles M. Ungermann, Sr.
December 25, 1934 — January 26, 2024
North Greenbush-Charles Michael Ungermann, Sr. passed away unexpectedly on January 26, 2024. Charley, as he was affectionately known, was born in Dearborn, Michigan on Christmas Day, 1934.
Charley was predeceased by his parents Norman Sr. and Mary Ungermann, brother Richard (Belle) Ungermann, and a son Michael Ungermann. He is survived by his wife Gerry, son Charles (Kathy) Ungermann Jr., stepson Jeff Bowen, daughter Cathryn Ungermann, and brother Norman Ungermann, Jr. Also surviving are four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Sunday, May 19 with visitation starting at 2:30 pm and Service of Remembrance at 4 pm at W.J. Lyons, Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer, New York 12144.
